This 　positively exudes polish and rehnement, not to mention the 　mysteries that make "Vosne Romanee" a magical name but at 　village level seldom such a magical taste. 　(The WINE Advocate Issue 170)

In the mouth, this exhibits 　a salty, chalky, stony mineral character and high-tension acidity 　that remind me of high elevation north-of-Gevrey terroir, and 　a refreshing, sorbet-like expression of black fruits. Subtle 　sweetness and a fine edge of acidity, juiciness and minerality 　inform an elegant, refined, yet ultimately indefinable hnish. 　One feels compelled to follow this for a few years and see where 　it leads. 　(The WINE Advocate Issue 170)

Plum cake, blond tobacco, musk, and brown 　spices in the nose lead to a juicy, sleek, refined (though 　abundantly tannic), sweetly black cherry-fruited palate with 　spice inflections and mysterious meatiness indeed worthy of 　a top-flight Vosne cru. This fnishes with irresistibly fat, 　flattering fruity intensity and brown spices. The roots go deep 　into the mother chalk-as Perrot-Minot illustrates by means of 　a soil cross-section - and the same can be said of the wine's 　finish. 　(The WINE Advocate Issue 170)
