Fat, 　sweet and seamless in the mouth, with a palate-saturating, 　grand cru thickness of fruit leavened by rocky minerality and 　strong but integrated acidity. Very long on the finish, with 　late suggestions of licorice and vanilla. Pillot replanted half 　of this parcel in 2001; the young vines went into the Vergers 　cuvee in 2005.
