ここの村には有名な“ シャンベルタン ”が存在します。シャンベルタンとは“ ベルタンの畑 ”がなまって呼ばれた一区画の畑の名前です。その面積はたった13ha。
その高名な畑をジュヴレ村の後につなげて現在の名前となっています。周りの村と比べた時、ワインの価格は一つ上を行きますが、その芳香性の強さと
しっかりとしたボディのワインは人気が高く、優良生産者が多いこともあって不動の人気があります。

Dugat says his sulfuring was as light as possible, and this wine is certainly not suffering in any obvious way. It boasts a wonderfully silky suppleness of texture, juicy and engaging black raspberry and pomegranate fruit character, and a finish featuring notes of game, forest floor, fruit skin tartness, and the bitter side of vanilla bean, but with more brightness, lift and exuberance than the firm and darkly-shaded wines typical of this vintage.
