Then comes the seeming 2005 paradox: lots of 　brash, "bright", high-acid, fresh fruit character on the palate 　(but still an abundance of: those "dark" flavors). This is 　formidably concentrated, finely tannic, and positively palate- 　staining - so severe it makes the Morey seem winsome. But make 　no mistake: if you buy your ticket and have 6-8 years' patience, 　it will reward you with a front row seat at a fascinatingly 　complex, "I-can't-believe-this-was-ever-grape-juice" sort of show. 　(The WINE Advocate Issue 171)
