tobacco, smoked meats, and licorice, the Rousseau 2008 Ruchottes-
Chambertin Clos des Ruchottes offers a rich yet vibrant amalgam
of dark cherry, licorice, and tobacco on smoothly polished yet
palpably extract-rich palate. Peat, chalk and bittersweet herbal
and cherry pit notes help extend an energetically gripping finish.
I would feel confident in planning to age this for 12-15 years.
